Clearview Donates to Local Flood Victims

We were honored to contribute $10,000 to the Southwestern PA Chapter of the American Red Cross in order to provide relief to local families experiencing loss due to the recent flooding. The donation is part of our ongoing commitment to the communities served and is earmarked for the Disaster Relief Program of the Red Cross.

The Pittsburgh region suffered from severe flooding over the past few weeks. In the South Hills, flooding impacted a total of 150 homes, with 50 experiencing major damage, 10 homes were destroyed and 5 were inaccessible. Damage in the North Hills is still presently being assessed.

Our Board of Directors approved the gift, which represents nearly 25%  of funds spent on providing relief to the flood victims. This includes community centers to temporarily house families, supplemental assistance to those hardest hit, food, clothing and cleanup, along with referrals for additional support.

Board Chair Doug Montanari, Board member Robert Farrell, and CEO Ronald Celaschi, along with senior management were on hand to present the check today to Terry Koontz, Chief Development Officer and Connie Cavrich, Regional Philanthropy Officer, of the Southwestern PA Chapter of the Red Cross.
