One of the main reasons credit unions are often founded is to serve their communities. (To test even more of your knowledge about all things credit unions, try our quiz here.) A big part of serving our community comes in the form of giving back and providing opportunities, like college scholarships, to help members succeed.
Clearview’s Ralph B. Canterbury College Scholarship
This is the 18th year that we’re offering our Ralph B. Canterbury Scholarship to existing members and new members. (If you’re not a member yet, you can apply online here to join our credit union, so you’re eligible for the scholarship and everything else we offer!)
A total of 10 scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 each this year, and applications are due by March 31st.
The scholarships are a great way for us to honor our former Credit Union President Ralph B. Canterbury’s outstanding service and loyalty to the Credit Union during his 34-year tenure–and honor a group of outstanding students at the same time.

The College Board is a mission-driven not-for-profit organization that’s been connecting students to college success and opportunity since 1900. Use their search tool to enter some information about your background, and they’ll match you up with eligible scholarships that you can apply to help pay for schooling.
